This year has been challenging on multiple levels; individually, communally, nationally, and globally. Our lives, routines, and plans for the year changed within a matter of weeks.
That being said, we made it through, and 2021 is within sight!
We are using the next week and a half to reflect on our personal experiences in 2020, and this helps us think about our goals for the new year. What did we do well this year? What could we have done better? Should we do more of something (ex. workout) in 2021, and are there any habits we need to leave behind? We prefer to set goals over making resolutions. Goals can build on themselves, and we find that they're easier to follow through with in the longterm.
One habit that both of us picked up towards the end of this year is reading. It's been an awesome way to separate from the screens, and getting lost in a story helps unwind from the hustle and bustle of our everyday. We each already have a list of books to tackle in the new year, so bring it on 2021!
Congratulations on making it through this difficult and trying year. Onto the next one!
