May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, so we thought we would share some of our favorite practices to maintain our mental health.
Journaling and talking to loved ones are great ways to reflect on what we’re doing as well as how we’re doing.
Meditating and stretching help us find peace and center ourselves.
Spending time outdoors and taking screen breaks/limiting screen time helps us stay grounded and makes sure we are staying present in the moment - it’s too easy to lose ourselves in the devices, which always seem to have something new for us to look at!
Sometimes, we need to set boundaries for ourselves. Remember to communicate your boundaries to others if they will affect those in your community.
Doing something fun? That’s right! With discipline and moderation, we can benefit greatly from doing something we enjoy to blow off steam, unwind, recharge, and avoid burnout!
